New Leaf
Inspired by Pokémon Go's 'Gotta Catch Them All' system, New Leaf is an AR program made to raise awareness about the dangers of deforestation and the benefits of biodiversity. Users are encouraged to explore and plant virtual trees. New Leaf teaches tree care and maintenance, and promotes the reforestation initiatives called OneTreePlanted. It combines gamification, environmental awareness, and action.
